Martha Sue Boyd
GLASGOW – Martha Sue Young Boyd, 93, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was the daughter of the late John Robinson Young and Alza Logan McAlister Young. She was a retired school teacher from the Glasgow School System and a member of the Glasgow Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Robert Dallas “Bobby” Boyd; one daughter, Suanne Boyd “Susie” Stone; five grandchildren, Sara Katherine Fussell (David), McCartney Laine Ericson (Ryan), Travis Boyd Stone (Tiffany), Jordan Boyd Hursey (Colton), and Kory Robinson Stone (Mary Kaylen); ten great-grandchildren, Vivian Ericson, Townes Ericson, Cole Hursey, Emma Fussell, Rylee Fussell, Lakelyn Stone, Lucas Stone-Hardcastle, Hailey Stone, Adalyn Stone, and Hudson Stone.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dallas Boyd; one brother, John Rice Young; and one sister, Joann Young.
The funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial at the Brookside Cemetery in Campbellsville, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday and after 8:00 am Saturday until time for services.
