Lady Bears Beat Out Lady Scotties in First round of the Caveland Classic

The Butler County Lady Bears faced off against the Glasgow Lady Scotties on December 29, at Rafferty’s, Double Dog- Caveland Classic, held at Edmonson County High School.
In the third quarter the score was tied at 33 to 33, which goes to show you all the girls played hard in the last half of the game. In a fast-paced game that saw the lead score change many times the Lady Bears beat out Glasgow with a score of 63 to 56.

The Lady Bears had several 3-point shots, but their strong suit was 2 points and rebounds. #5, Carly Cardwell completed 14 free throw baskets, and #24 Ava Wilson had 14 rebounds.
In the last two games against Monroe and Meade County the Lady Bears lost: Monroe-35 to 58 and Meade 44 to 75.
