Thirteen File for Glasgow City Council Seats
Staff Report
GLASGOW — Interest in local government is running high as 13 individuals have officially filed to run for the Glasgow City Council in the upcoming election.

Only three current council members of the nine have filed, according to the Secretary of State website.
The deadline for candidates to file is January 9 at the Barren County Clerk’s Office in Glasgow. Individuals interested in running must complete the required filing process by that date to be placed on the ballot.
