Earl Anthony “Arch” Prokupek, Jr.

GLASGOW – Earl Anthony “Arch” Prokupek, Jr., 74, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2025, at the Hosparus Inpatient Unit in Louisville. A native of La Grange, Illinois, he was the son of Cynthia Pearl Wilson Prokupek and the late Earl Anthony Prokupek, Sr.

Anthony was a carpenter by trade who had previously worked with his father at Prokupek Builders. He had many varied interests, including being a part of the band “Earl the Pearl & the Oysters”. His other interests included slot cars, remote control model airplanes, yoyos, and hummingbirds, in addition to his music. He was an extremely crafty person who was able to build or manufacture most anything that he needed to complete the task at hand.

Survivors include his mother, Cynthia Pearl Prokupek of Glasgow; one brother, Steven Horace Prokupek of Glasgow; two sisters, Loretta Prokupek Weber of Glasgow and Laura Prokupek of Illinois; one niece; one nephew; along with several cousins and other family members.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, September 6, 2025, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 12:30 on Saturday.
