Gurmon Vincent, 85 Passed Away

BROWNSVILLE, Ky.- Gurmon Vincent, 85, of Bee Spring passed away Feb. 23, 2024 at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.
The Grayson County native was retired employee for McClellan Stone Co., a water well driller, a maintenance worker for Nolin State Park and an avid fox and rabbit hunter. He was a son of the late Walter Vincent and Mary Della Sanders Vincent. He was preceded in death by a half brother, Wilbur Vincent and a half sister, Nadine Blair.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial to follow in Gurmon Vincent Cemetery. Visitation will take place 1-7 PM Wednesday and after 10:00 AM Thursday.
Surviving are his wife, Arlene Meredith Vincent; a son, Lyndon Vincent (Gail) of Bee Spring; a sister, Nola Elder; three grandchildren, Amanda Whitaker (Casey) of Campbellsville, James Vincent (Jessica) of Greensburg and Ashley Carby (Clestin) of Sweeden; seven great grandchildren, Jayden Whitaker, Katelynn Whitaker, Sheldon Whitaker, Sahaley McClure, Payton Carby, Adalynn Carby and Lauren Vincent; and several nieces and nephews.
