The Lady Hornets played the final three games of their regular season this past week, hosting Glasgow (6-23) on Monday, traveling to Greenwood (14-16) on Tuesday, and finishing the season Thursday at home against Caverna (3-25).

Metcalfe played a back-and-forth game against the Lady Scotties to start off the week. After trailing the Lady Scotties by one after the first quarter the score would be tied heading into halftime, 31-31.

Remaining close, the Lady Hornets would take a one-point lead into the fourth, but would once again find themselves tied at the end of regulation, 60-60. Despite a 24 and 10 double-double effort from Kassady London, and double digit scoring from Aubrey Glass (15), Jozie Allen (14), and Anna Grace Blythe (11), the Lady Hornets would fall 70-75 in overtime.

Taking the court on back-to-back nights, the Lady Hornets would once again find themselves in a close game early at Greenwood Tuesday night. After finishing the first quarter tied with the Lady Gators, Jozie Allen would dominate the remainder of the game, putting up a career-high 27-point performance, leading Metcalfe to a 65-46 blowout win.

Thursday night’s matchup against the Lady Colonels would never be close, as the Lady Hornets breezed to a 77-21 victory. During the game, Kassady London would score her 1,844th career point for Metcalfe County, propelling her to second place all time ahead of Lady Hornet great Terran Duncan.
