1 dead, 1 juvenile in stable condition after Glasgow shooting

Glasgow Police responded to a shooting on Friday morning at Dellwood Apartments on South Green Street. A female juvenile, who is now in stable condition, had been suffered a gun shot wound. While administering to the female, another shot was fired in the apartment. Once inside, police say they found Taeron Legg, 19, deceased from a self-inflicted gun shot wound. Photo by J.R. One man is dead and a female juvenile is injured after a shooting occurred this morning at Dellwood Apartments in Glasgow.

According to the Glasgow Police Department, they received a call of a shooting in progress at the apartment complex on South Green Street at 9:50 a.m.

When officers arrived, they were met by a juvenile female who had been shot after she came outside from one of the apartments. While officers were approaching to provide medical attention to the juvenile, a second shot was heard in the apartment.

Officers made entry and found a male suspect identified as Taeron Legg      that died from a self-inflicted gun shot wound, according to police.

Glasgow Police Chief Howie said the juvenile was transferred outside of Glasgow for further medical treatment and is in stable condition.

Legg is a former resident of Barren County but currently resided in Owensboro.
