Phyllis Skaggs

CORINTH – Phyllis Skaggs, age 77 , departed this life on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Phyllis was born on June 6, 1946, to the late Russell Gorbandt and Mary Elizabeth Leonard Cooper. She was married for fifty-six years to her loving husband, Kerry Skaggs, who survives.

Phyllis was a charter employee for Humana Insurance, where she worked for over thirty-years. until her retirement. She loved to travel with her husband and was able to visit 45 of the 50 states. Phyllis was a member of Camp Taylor Baptist Church.

Besides her husband, Kerry, she leaves to honor her memory— her children, Becky Skaggs of Louisville and Bill Skaggs of Indianapolis. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Susan Loweth.

Interment will be in Kinser Cemetery.
