Patsy Craddock Houchins
Chalybeate – Patsy Craddock Houchins, age 74 of Chalybeate departed this life on Friday, November 17, 2023, at Hospice of Southern Kentucky. The Hart County native was born on March 1, 1949, to the late Dane and Dollie Childress Craddock. She was married to her husband of fifty years, Tony Houchins, who survives.
Pat was a graduate of Western Kentucky University and retired from Warren County Public Library. She attended Pine Grove Presbyterian Church, and enjoyed gardening, cooking and crafting. Time spent with her children and grandchildren brought her the greatest joys.
Besides her husband, Tony, she leaves to honor her memory— her children, Mekesha Montgomery (Darrell) of Hendersonville, TN, Kip Houchins (Mandy) of Chalybeate, and Ryan Houchins (Maria) of Hendersonville, TN; eight grandchildren, McKenna Tabor (Jeremy), Garrett Houchins (Andrea), Zach Montgomery, Piper Montgomery, Katelyn Decker (Ethan), Bailey Board (Hannah), Kaitlyn Watson, and Nathan Gober; three great-grandchildren, Ella Beth Meredith, Mason Tabor, and Grant Decker; and siblings, Deanna McCage (Ronnie) of Georgia, and James Craddock (Linda) of Lincoln, KY. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Alden “Slim” Craddock.
Interment will be in Kinser Cemetery.
