Gary Lewis Piercy

FORT WAYNE, IN – Gary Lewis Piercy, 56, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on February 22, 1967, to David Lee Piercy and Goldina Smith.

Mr. Piercy was of the Christian faith and enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on cars, spending time with family and friends, and was always willing to help others.

Survivors include his father, David Lee Piercy (Brenda) of Edmonton, KY; his mother, Goldina Smith (Tommy Gibson) of Summer Shade, KY; the love of his life, Penny Holzgen of Fort Wayne, IN; ten siblings, Marty Piercy (Beth), Dennis Piercy (Jackie), Penny Daniel, Timothy Piercy (Stacy), Margie Pauley (Josh), Amy Turner, Billy Ryan (Jackie), Katrina Piercy, Lisa Hall (Ken), and Michael Patterson (Patty); and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Skaggs Creek Cemetery. There will be no visitation.

McMurtrey Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
