Anne Foster Hodges

CENTER – Anne Foster Hodges, age 69, of the Center Community of Metcalfe County, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Hodges was born on Tuesday, April 20, 1954, the daughter of Fraser and Jenny (Porter) Hodges. Mrs. Hodges was a member of the Center Methodist Church, graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Master’s Degree, along with being Kappa Delta, was a Physical Therapist, with Kleinert Kutz Hand Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky for some 20 plus years, was a Certified Hand Therapist providing care for the first hand transplant patient in the United States and was a published author on hand therapy.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Hodges is survived by her husband, James “Sonny” Foster of Center, Kentucky; sister, Nancy (Hodges) (Glyn) Steele of Center, Kentucky; niece, Whitney (Steele) (Matt) Ball of Nashville, Tennessee; along with many friends and loved ones.

The funeral service for Mrs. Anne Foster Hodges will be conducted on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Center Methodist Church, with Bro. Neal Jefferies officiating. Burial will follow in the Cassady Cemetery in Center, Kentucky just off the Herbert Hodges Rd. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 25, 2023, after 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at the church.
