Jeannie Marie Coffey Wheeler
COLUMBIA – Jeannie Marie (Coffey) Wheeler, 47, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2023, at T. J. Samson Hospital in Glasgow, KY. Jeannie was born May 21, 1976, in Glasgow, KY to the late James and Connie Phelps Coffey. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Earl “Jamie” Coffey, and her loyal four-legged companion, Molly Mae.
She is survived by her significant other, Larry Shirley of Columbia; and two children, Morgan Wheeler (Brandy) and Hannah Wheeler (Derek) of Scottsville, KY;. Her sisters, Tracy Robertson (Traci Green) of Glasgow, and Tina Coffey of Edmonton; and one brother, Joe Coffey of Edmonton. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Jeannie Marie was loud and opinionated. She loved flowers just like her momma and antiquating. She loved her kids more than anything along with Molly Mae. Those she surrounded herself with she loved fiercely. Anyone who knew her knew Jeannie was a force to be reckoned with.
Funeral services will be at 4:00 PM Sunday, November 19, 2023, at Jessie-Wilson Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Visitation will be on Sunday after 1:30 PM at Jessie-Wilson Funeral Home.
