Betty Gay Norris

GLASGOW – Betty Gay (Fawcett) Norris, age 75, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at her home, surrounded by family. Betty was born in Campbellsville, Kentucky on March 15, 1948, a daughter of the late William Earl and Hazel (Jeffries) Fawcett.  She attended Beautician School and retired from DANA after twenty-two years.  Betty had a decorator’s eye, and an entertainer’s heart. She enjoyed hosting her friends every chance she could.

She is survived by her husband of thirty-four years, Ray Norris, of Glasgow; three daughters, Lori Morel, Debbie White, and Connie Alrodan and husband Hamoud; ten grandchildren, Heather Hagan-Alford (Melodie,) Brittany Hagan, Shayka Alrodan,  Hunter Morel (Cheyenne,) Sara Alrodan, Keller Morel, Allia Alrodan, Blake Morel, Jenna Alrodan, and Rodan Alrodan; seven great-grandchildren, Floyd Hagan- Alford, Skye Milby, Hailey Hagan-Alford, Brody Hagan-Alford, Bradyn Hagan-Alford, Bridgyt Hagan-Alford, and Brooklyn Hagan-Alford; one brother, Allen Fawcett; along with one niece and nephew, Chad Fawcett (Sharonda,) and Lynde Landis who also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Earl and Hazel (Jeffries) Fawcett.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel in Cave City, Kentucky with interment to follow in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Bro. Ray Woody will officiate the services.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 5, 2023, after 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m.
