Mattie Louise Craine

CAVE CITY – Mattie Louise Craine, age 92, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023, at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow. She was born October 22, 1931, in Glasgow to the late Bud Melton and the late Roxie (Horton) Melton. Louise was a member of the Rock Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sons, Mark Craine (Carla) nd Eddie Neil Craine (Carol); daughter, Barbra Friend (Bob); and 13 grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward Craine; daughter, Debbi Edwards; brothers, Calvin Melton, Bobby Melton; sisters, Dorothy Lynam, Ruby Chapman, and Thelma Williams.

The funeral service for Mrs. Craine will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 3, 2023, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Cave City Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday morning from 9:00 AM until time for the service at the funeral home.
