Evelyn Cash
GLASGOW – Evelyn Cash passed away Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Glenview Nursing & Rehab Center. She was born Delma Evelyn Hagan on April 26, 1933, to Sammy and Crystal Hall Hagan. She married Horace Lee Cash on December 24, 1949; they had one daughter, Brenda Kaye Cash. She was a born-again Christian and of the Baptist faith. Evelyn was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she taught the Joy Sunday School Class for many years. She loved her church and family. She loved going to the beach; she and her husband went every year. She loved painting and she has painted many landscapes.
Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents, Sammy Hagan and Crystal Hall Hagan; her husband, Lee Cash; her daughter, Brenda Kaye Richey; her grandson, Scott Clark; her brother, Carlie Hagan; and her sister, Mayoma Bunch Underwood.
She is survived by her great-grandson, Dillon Clark; along with several nieces, and nephews. She will be forever loved and missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Monday, October 30, 2023, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 8:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
