Eugene Phillip Avery

EDMONTON – Eugene Phillip Avery, 94, passed away Friday, October 20, 2023, at his residence. He was born in Concord, New Hampshire on March 27, 1929, to the late Holland and Alta Tholander Avery. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Constance Faye Avery; three brothers, and one sister.

He was a member of the Edmonton Methodist Church and the Edmonton Masonic Lodge #931. He was very involved in the community and often said the best 30 years of his life were spent here in Edmonton.

Survivors include his three children, Dean Steve Avery, David Wayne Avery, and Lynn Blakenship (Jimmy); one grandson, Daniel Eugene Avery; three great-grandchildren, Matthew, Isaac, and Andrew Avery; and one sister, Carol Millikan.

The family chose cremation, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
