Missing Elkton woman last seen near Metcalfe County

The Elkton Police Department is searching for the whereabouts of 18-year-old Silvana Mendoza-Juarez.
Police say she was reported missing to the Elkton Police Department in Todd County, KY after family members went several weeks without seeing or hearing from her.  Through an investigation, it has surfaced that Mendoza-Juarez was last seen walking down the roadway in the area of South Union Hill School Road in Monroe County just south of the Metcalfe County line on July 5th or 6th.
Mendoza-Juarez was last seen wearing a t-shirt and shorts and did not have any shoes on.  Mendoza- Juarez does take medications for Epilepsy. Both family and police say, to the best of their knowledge, she did not take them with her and has not had them refilled.
