Garry Reed Hatcher
CAVE CITY – Garry Reed Hatcher, 69, passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at Bowling Green Medical Center. He was the son of the late Carlos Owen Hatcher and Ocie Mae Anderson Hatcher. He was retired from Hart County Creamery and a member of New Hope United Baptist Church.
He is survived by four daughters, Debrah Sallee (Josh), Vickie Hatcher, Laurie Buntyn (Mario), and Angela Hatcher; fourteen grandchildren, Jacob Vaughn (Jessica), Justin Webb, Brandon Bowles, Breanna Pedigo, Colby Hatcher, Asia Hatcher, Mario Buntyn Jr., Jason Pedigo II, Brooklyn Hatcher, Hunter Pedigo, Jaiden Buntyn Jr., Khloe Hatcher, Quintin Buntyn Jr., and Trent Buntyn; five great-grandchildren, Carter Vaughn, Paisley Vaughn, Ryder Williamson, Kayden Bolin, Greyson Vaughn; and one sister, Phyllis Hayes.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Erwin; sister, Ramona Sue Anderson; and brother-in-law, Dave Hayes.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 13, 2023, at New Hope United Baptist Church with burial in the New Hope United Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. Thursday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home and after 10:00 a.m. Friday at the church until the time of service.
