Michael Carl Ford

EDMONTON – Michael Carl Ford, age 71, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Albert B. Chandler Hospital in Lexington. He was born in Glasgow on December 10, 1951, to the late O.H. Ford and Betty (Haley) Ford. Michael was the owner and operator of Michaels Homestead, he worked for many years as a broker and auctioneer, and he also worked 14 years at the Barren-Metcalfe EMS service.

Michael enjoyed going to yard sales, reading books, woodworking, and his animals.

Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years, Julia Lee Ford; son, Michael Chase Ford; brothers, Donald Ford (Kathy), and Douglas Ford (Larissa); several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, one brother, John M. Ford.

A Masonic service for Mr. Ford will be held Thursday, October 12, 2023, at 6:00 PM, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00 PM until the time of the service, then after the service until 8:00 PM.
