Friday events for PFC Brooks

Edmonson County School Superintendent Brian Alexander and Robbie Brantley, Director of Patton Funeral Home, along with Gerald Carroll, US Army retired and great nephew to PFC Thomas Franklin Brooks are presenting an “educational session for the students of Edmonson County” at Edmonson County High School on Friday, September 29, 2023, at 9:30 am in the school gymnasium to learn about the life of PFC Frank Brooks.

They are bringing the middle and high school students together in the gymnasium for a 30-40 minute session and the hearse will drive by both elementary schools where the students will present flags and songs. It is anticipated that many of the Brooks Family will be in attendance for these events.

The family of Frank Brooks is honored that the children and youth of Edmonson County will have an opportunity to learn about his life and this very important time in American history. They appreciate the efforts from Superintendent Alexander and Robbie Brantley of Patton Funeral Home for making this possible.”
