Lou Ella Pitcock, age 82, of Glasgow, passed away

Lou Ella Pitcock, age 82, of Glasgow, passed away Friday, September 22, 2023, at her residence. She was born in Glasgow on September 16, 1941, to the late Charlie Elvin Chaplin and late Vera Agness (Britt) Chaplin.

Lou is survived by her loving husband, Darrell Pitcock; daughters, Tresia Thomerson (John) and Lora Pritchard (Glenn); grandchildren, Casey Houchens (Ryan), Dustin Thomerson (Melissa), Andrew Thomerson (Katlan), Tiffany Bard (Jamie), Jordan Pritchard (Alexis); brother, Walter Chaplin; sisters, Jo Ann Lynn (Ralph), Charlene Kay McCrary; 8 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents Lou was preceded in death by her brothers, Leroy Chaplin, Clyde Chaplin, William Chaplin; sisters, Mary Harris, Pearl Chaplin, Evelyn Skeeters.

Mrs. Pitcock’s family have honored her wishes for cremation. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, September 29th at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM on Friday until time for the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family ask for donations to be made to South Green Church of Christ or Alzheimer’s association.
