Hornet qualifies for state

The Metcalfe golf team competed in the region tournament at Indian Hills Golf Course in Bowling Green last Tuesday. The Hornets finished sixth out of 16 teams in the region. Metcalfe’s number one, Ben Shirley, shot a state tournament qualifying 78. Ben is the first Hornet to qualify for the state tournament in twenty years. Ben will tee off at the state tournament Monday morning at the Bowling Green Country Club.
