The Metcalfe Golf team participated in the conference tournament Thursday at The Pines in Adair County. The boys turned in a team score 159, claiming first place out of eight teams. Noah Emmitt and Collin Shive turned in team best 38s, with Kruz Tucker (40) and Ben Shirey (43) also turning in qualifying scores. With the regional tournament quickly approaching, Thursday’s victory has the Hornets on the right path, getting hot just at the right time.
