Doris Ann Eatmon

BEE SPRINGS – Doris Ann Eatmon, age 68,  departed this life on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at Genesis Edmonson Center. The Edmonson County native was born on August 4, 1955, to Alice Farris McGrew and the late Bert Lee McGrew.  She was married to Charles Eatmon, Sr., until they were parted by his passing on March 2, 2020. Doris worked as a merchandise assistant at Lowes, and was a member of Bee Spring Missionary Baptist Church.

Besides her mother, Alice, she leaves to honor her memory— her daughters, Stephanie Hiser (Scotty) of Park City and Vanessa Mitchell (Mark) of Elizabethtown; stepson, Charles “Chuck” Eatmon, Jr. (Monica) of Greensburg; grandchildren, Sara Hiser, Lily Mitchell, Alyssa Eatmon, Bentley Hiser, Ty Eatmon, and Poppy Mitchell; and sister, Kathleen Cowan (David) of Bee Spring.

Interment will be in Bee Spring Church Cemetery.

VISITATION: 10 AM—7 PM, Sunday, September 10, 2023, and 9 AM—12:30 PM, Monday, September 11, 2023, at Patton Funeral Home Brownsville Chapel

FUNERAL: 1 PM, Monday, September 11, 2023, at Bee Spring Missionary Baptist Church
