The Glasgow High School Scotties and Coach Jeff  Garmon recorded their second shutout of the young season last Friday night at home. The Scotties shutout the Monroe County Falcons 28-0 to improve to 3-0.

The Scotties only allowed a touchdown against Russellville (42-6) or they would have three shutouts.

The Scotties took the opening kickoff and didn’t waste much time getting on the scoreboard. Quarterback Easton Jessie hit Rico Crowder on a beautiful over the shoulder fade route for their first touchdown of the game with 7:28 on the clock.

GHS senior kicker, Wesley Travis, split the uprights for a 7-0 lead. Travis was 2 of 3 on PAT kicks on the night.

Linebacker David Dale intercepted a deflected pass to give the Scotties back the football. Easton connected with Cameron Bulle on 4th down for his second TD pass of the game. Glasgow led Monroe 14-0 at the end of the first quarter.
