Rev. Owen Junior Meredith
CAVE CITY – Rev. Owen Junior Meredith, departed this life on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at his residence. The Hart County native was born on June 14, 1942, to the late Graden J. and Lissie Burba Meredith. He was married to his devoted wife and best friend, Magaline Childress Meredith, who survives.
Rev. Junior was a member of Northtown United Baptist Church and Bearwallow Cave City Masonic Lodge #231 F&AM. He worked as a certified welder, and was a co-owner of Magaline’s Antique Mall and Magaline’s Sandwich Shop.
Besides his wife, Magaline, he leaves to honor his memory, his daughter, Lisa Wilson (David) of Scottsville; sisters, Joann Dennis (Charles), Bertha Williams, and Mary Jane Alvey; and a brother, Samuel Meredith.
Interment will be in the Northtown Church Cemetery.
