Rex Neal Thomason

GLASGOW – Rex Neal Thomason, 75, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2023. He was a son of the late William Reid Thomason and Ellis Hughes Akers Thomason. He was a retired construction worker for Ernest Simpson Construction and a Vietnam War veteran.

He is survived by one son, Christopher Neal Thomason; three brothers, Harold (Sue) Thomason, Joe (Lavaughn) Thomason, and Richard (Angie) Branham; three sisters, Shirley Jackson, Rebecca (Dennis) Jackson, and Regina Cummings; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Margie Jackson; and two brothers, William Thomason and Charles Thomason.

Funeral will be at 2:00 pm Friday, September 1, 2023, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral with burial in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00 am Friday until time for services.
