William “Bill” Houchens
GLASGOW – William Eugene “Bill” Houchens, 65, passed away Friday, August 25, 2023, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was a son of the late William Burchfield Houchens and Helen Marie Lemons Houchens.
He is survived by his wife, Deeanna Byrd Houchens; two daughters, Marquitta Lessenberry “Jeremy” and Ashley Houchens; four grandchildren, Dalton Gravens (Andrea), Breanna Brown, Bryer Brown, and Boss Lessenberry; one great-grandson, Walker Gravens; one brother, Tony Houchens (Belinda); two sisters, Bonnie Young (Marty) and Elizabeth Sawyer (John); one aunt, Jeannie Bratcher (Jerry); several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Debbie Houchens; and one grandson, Ty Lessenberry.
Funeral will be at 5:00 pm Monday, August 28, 2023, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Visitation will be after 11:00 am Monday until time for services.
