Sally Imogene Billingsley Grenead
SUMMER SHADE – Sally Imogene Billingsley Grenead, 92, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2023, at the Hospice House in Glasgow. She was born June 23, 1931, in Tompkinsville to the late Harley Billingsley and Eva Gentry Billingsley.
She is survived by four children, Deborah (Tony) Simmons of Glasgow, Donna Copas of Tompkinsville, Chris (Jodie) Grenead of Columbia, TN, and Brian (Shauna) Grenead of Gallatin, TN.; grandchildren, Lindsey (Wade) Jackson, Lauren Simmons (Shea Guy), Ty (Lauren) Simmons, Tuesday Grenead, Tristan Grenead, Harlie Grenead, and Dixie Grenead; great-grandchildren, Brady, Carter, and Hadley; and son-in-law, Bruce Hester. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Namon Grenead; two sons, Steve and Daryl Grenead; brothers, Junior Billingsley and Richard Billingsley; sisters, Virginia Wilborn and Ruth Ann Crumpton; and son-in-law, Eddie Copas.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. at McMurtrey Funeral Home with burial the White Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. here at the funeral home until time of the service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the White Cemetery.
