Nolan Ray Shirley

GLASGOW – Nolan Ray Shirley was called home by Christ to be with his wife Mildred Paulette Hurt Shirley on August 26, 2023.  He was born December 5, 1942, and lived in Glasgow. He retired from SKF after over 35 years of service.

He is survived by his son, Kevin Shirley; daughter, Sherry Jones (Steve), and daughter, Tammy Pruitt (Todd). He had eight grandchildren, Erica Ecken, Justin Crenshaw, Ethan Jones, Autumn Shirley, Ashley Crenshaw, Amber Shirley, Jacob Crenshaw, and Natalie Jones. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Beth Shirley. While he will be terribly missed, his family is comforted by the fact that he is free from the constraints of this world and the assurance of a future reunification.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at 12:00 noon at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday August 28, 2023 beginning for family at 2:00 PM and general visitation at 3:00 PM at Hatcher Sadler Funeral Home in Glasgow.
