Clifton Pennington
HORSE CAVE – Clifton Pennington, age 65, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2023, at the Hospice House in Bowling Green, Ky. He was a native of Hart County. He loved music and loved playing his guitar. He attended the Ole Home Place and Senior Perspective. He loved reading his Bible.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Wendell and Sheila Pennington; and one sister, Lettie Wilson.
He is survived by one son, Chad Pennington; five grandchildren; three brothers, Steven Pennington (Sandra), of Sanderville, GA, Larry Pennington (Debra), of Shelbyville, Ky, and Wendell Pennington Jr. (Gloria), of Santa Claus, IN; one sister, Sylvia Mauldn, of Horse Cave; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Little Flock Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Winn Funeral home from 10 AM-7PM and from 9 AM until time of service Thursday.
