Terry Lee Gordon
SUMMER SHADE – Terry Lee Gordon, 70, passed away Monday, August 14, 2023, at the Hospice House of Bowling Green. He was born on July 20, 1953, in Glasgow, KY to the late Elbert Jewell and Gladys Jean Adwell Gordon.
Mr. Gordon was of the Christian faith and a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He enjoyed collecting and building trains and train tracks, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his son, Chris Gordon (Kim) of Summer Shade, KY; two granddaughters, Traci Michelle Goodman (Ira) of Texas and Haven Nicole Gordon of Florida; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles Gordon of Louisville, KY and James David Houck of Atlanta, Ga.; and several other friends and relatives.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Russell and Jeff Gordon.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 17, 2023, at McMurtrey Funeral Home with burial in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central at Radcliff, KY. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00-8:00pm and will continue Thursday after 8:00am at McMurtrey Funeral Home.
