Edward “Eddie” Jackson

GLASGOW – Edward Carroll “Eddie” Jackson, 72, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at the Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. He was a son of the late Roy Lee Jackson and Eddie June Gill Jackson. Eddie served in the National Guard, retired from R. R. Donnelley, Glasgow city bus driver, and a bus driver for Glasgow City School.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Spencer Jackson; three children, Jeremy Jackson (Barbara), James Allen Wilson (Betsy), and Michelle Dyer (Gary); five grandsons, Dakotah Jackson, Spencer Matthews (Katie), Joe Tyler Matthews (Latraca), Randall Jewell Matthews (Kassie), and Chase Dyer; five great-grandchildren, Oakley, Lili, Teagan, Brayleigh, and Keelin; one brother, Billy Jackson (Vicki); two sisters, Linda Gail Stephenson (Archie) and Tabitha Jackson (Timmy).

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Jackson.

A Celebration of Eddie’s Life will be held from 12 noon until 5:00 p.m. Sunday, August 20, 2023, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
