George Daniel Harlow

GLASGOW – George Daniel Harlow, 76, died Saturday, August 5, 2023, at the T J Samson Community Hospital. A native of Barren County, he was the son of the late Hilcie B. Harlow and Alice Houchens Harlow. He was a retired machinist at R R Donnelley & Sons, a member of the Baptist faith, and a former member of the United States Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley M. Harlow; two daughters, Amanda Burnette and her husband Kevin, and Phaedra Pippin and her husband Larry; four grandchildren, Garrett Pippin, Colin Pippin, Addizen Pippin, and Kiersten Pippin.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, H. David Harlow and Walter M. Harlow.

A private graveside service was held at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
