Deborah S. Adams
GLASGOW – Deborah S. Adams, 68, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at her residence. The daughter of Darrell Thomas Smith and the late Martha Lee Hart Smith Hazel, she was a retired Registered Nurse having worked at the Medical Center at Bowling Green and later as a traveling nurse.
Survivors include one son, Bruce Adams of Burkesville; four grandchildren, Jacob Adams, Jackson Adams, Sidney Claywell, and Dakota Claywell; her father, Darrell Thomas Smith; one brother, Darrell Smith, Jr. and his wife Rachel of Park City; two sisters, Vicki Wright of Glasgow and June Jones of Las Vegas; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Adams; and a daughter, Michelle Claywell Norris.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 14, 2023, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations toward funeral expenses may be made at the funeral home.
