Brenda Faye Gustafson
GLASGOW – Brenda Faye Gustafson, 75, passed away peacefully August 9, 2023. She was born in Logan, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Frank and Almeda Wallace. Brenda married Wayne Gustafson in Chicago, Illinois in May 1967. She worked for R.R. Donnelley & Sons for almost 25 years. Brenda loved frying chicken and baking pumpkins rolls for friends and family. She also loved caring for others in their time of need. She was a member of Bethel Independent Baptist Church in Glasgow, Kentucky, where she enjoyed working in the church kitchen.
Survivors include daughter, Kim Greene (David), and daughter Patty Davis (Paul); son, Brian Gustafson; two grandsons, William Davis and Titus Gustafson; two step-granddaughters, Layne Grime (Jonathan) and Catherine Greene; one step-great-grandson, Kona Grime; sister, Rita Metz (Bob); brothers, Charles Wallace and Buddy Wallace; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Besides her parents, and her husband she was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Gene Wallace.
The funeral service for Brenda will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial at Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday and after 11:00 am Saturday until time for services at the funeral home.
