Artle Wade Bell, Sr.

GLASGOW – Artle Wade Bell, Sr., 66, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was the son of the late Lonnie Edwin Bell and Rosetta Goldsmith Bell.

He is survived by five children, Tammie Bell, Artle Wade Bell, Jr. (Tammy Jo), Joseph Lee Bell (Angela), Jesse Wayne Bell, and Stephanie Lynn Bell; two sisters, Kathy Jo Lovell (Harold) and Linda Buckley; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren;, nieces, and nephews; and a special friend, Jackie Chapman.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Thompson; and his brother, Butch Bell.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Monday, August 7, 2023, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
