William Nicholas Fant
GLASGOW – William Nicholas “Billy” Fant, 71, passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was the son of the late John Davis Fant and Mary Rose Gagel Fant. He was retired from National Wood Products and Dart Container.
He is survived by two sisters, Rosemary Elmore and Tina Haynes; one nephew, Nathaniel Haynes; three nieces, Myria Taylor Harris, Christie Pedigo, and Ericka Wood; three great-nieces; nine great-nephews; four great-great-nieces; and four great-great-nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Richard Barry Haynes.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 pm Saturday, July 29, 2023, at the Henderson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
