Dovie Lee Stewart

BROWNSVILLE – Dovie Lee Stewart, age 83, peacefully departed this life at NHC HealthCare, in Glasgow, Kentucky on Sunday, July 23, 2023.  The Edmonson County native was born on February 19, 1940, to the late Elijah Dehart and Lucy Sexton Dehart. She was married to Junith Stewart, who also preceded her in death.

Dovie worked as a homemaker, and cared for her family with love. She was a member of Cedar Springs United Baptist Church.

She leaves to honor her memory— two daughters, Sheila Boston of Glasgow and Patty Mills of Brownsville; eight grandchildren, Lanae Burnley (Stacy), Dusty Filback (Makala), Brittany Doan (Michael Evans), Alyssa Glass (Cory), Logan Boston (Whitney Miller), Brooke Filback, Gaige Boston, and Addisyn Mills; seven great–grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews;

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jim Dehart and sister, Nora Douglas..

Interment will be in Lambert Cemetery.
