Barbara Bushway
GLASGOW – Barbara Bushway, age 84, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2023, at home surrounded by family. Barbara was born on September 29, 1938, to the late Florcy T. Powell and the late Blanche (Key) Powell.
She retired from SKF, enjoyed working at EB Terry, and working for Glasgow Little League. She loved all the kids, and they loved her. She was well known for her famous Mexican Hamburgers. She was a member of the Calvery Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Tracy (Tommy), Karen Boggs (Jeff), and Beth Kitchens; bonus children, Laurie Glass, Bob Bushway (Anita), Mike Bushway (Renee), and Tom Bushway; sister, Josephine Irwin; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Paul Bushway; grandson, Dylan Boggs; and daughter in law, Mitzy Bushway.
A graveside service for Mrs. Bushway will be held at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, 6100 Dutchman’s Ln, Ste 401, Louisville, KY 40205.
