Brenda “Sue” Fancher
Brenda “Sue” Fancher, 80, passed away on July 19th, 2023 after a brief illness. Sue was born and raised in Hart County, Ky. She had been in a nursing home in Hopkinsville for many, many years prior to her death.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carlos Luther Fancher and Lura Alice O’Banion Fancher. She was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Donnie Gale Fancher (Judy) and Roger Dale Fancher (Pat). Additionally, she was preceded in death by a niece, Crystal Gayle Fancher.
Surviving family includes her sister, Dorinda “Faye” Fancher Phillips (J.C.); two nieces, Donna Phillips Harmon (Spike) and Kim Phillips Link (Casey); three nephews, Brian Phillips (Rhonda), Gabriel Fancher (Chelsea), and Dallas Fancher. She was also blessed with nine great-nieces and two great-nephews; and one great-great-niece.
Sue had chosen to be cremated and her ashes will be interred at a later date in Houk Cemetery beside her parents. No services will be held at her request. Condolences may be expressed online at www.winnfuneralhome.com. Winn Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
