On any given day, you can walk through the doors of Treasured Creations in downtown Horse Cave and see a shop filled wall-to-wall with unique gift items. From laser engraved clocks to customized wood signs, business owner Lisa Rayburn can create a wide-variety of items.

But her talents have reached far beyond Hart County and even Kentucky.

Lisa creates projects for the stars of the hit T.V. show Moonshiners.

“My husband and I go down to the Smokey Mountains just about every month to make deliveries and hang out at the distillery with Kelly Williamson, Mark Ramsey, Mark’s wife Sally Jane, and Digger,” Lisa shared.

Now, Lisa is bringing her talents to a NASCAR legend – Richard Petty.

Last year, the stars of Moonshiners became involved with the Moonshine Run led by Richard Petty and the Petty Family Foundation. Since its inception in 2008, the Petty Family Foundation has given back to the community through its philanthropy and financial assistance. Several fundraising events are held each year to help the foundation continue its support of youth and veteran organizations. The 6th Annual Moonshine Run will be held on August 18th-19th of this year. The event is a fun-filled rally ride with unique stops along the way and includes live entertainment, food trucks, live and silent auctions, and more.

In June, Lisa traveled to Tennessee to donate a laser engraved sign that will be signed by Richard Petty and auctioned during the Moonshine Run with proceeds going to veteran organizations. She will also be donating several more items that Richard, as well as the Moonshiners stars, will sign.

“Then it all will be auctioned off for one of Richard’s charity,” Lisa said. “…Other people that will be involved is Danielle Parton. She is Dolly Parton’s niece. She also is a pilot for the U.S. Air Force and owns a distillery where she makes rum and other whiskeys and moonshine. Her distillery is called Shine Girl.”

The Petty Family Foundation has helped to support a vast variety of charities, including Paralyzed Veterans of America, Operation North State, Foundation Fighting Blindness, Ricky Proehl P.O.W.E.R. of Play Foundation, and many more.

Lisa is excited to utilize her artistic abilities to help support the Petty Family Foundation.
