Myrtle Louise Young
EDMONTON – Myrtle Louise Young, 76, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2023, at her home. She was born May 3, 1947, in Metcalfe County to the late Riley Davis and Erma Matthews Davis. She was a member of Greasy Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Robert Alan Young of Sulphur Well; and one daughter, Anita Jean (Boon) Matney of Exie.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Young; her daughter, Rhonda Kaye Young; and her brothers and sisters, Freeman Franklin Davis, Della Bea Davis, Billie Bob Davis, Arlo Emerson Davis, Frona Francis Finn, Bertha Delia Jones, Rachel Bernice Milby, Riley Angela Davis, Daniel Matthew Davis, Shelby Jean Coffey, and Flevel Sidney Davis.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. at McMurtrey Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:30 AM until the time of the service. Burial will follow at the Smith Cemetery.
