Peggy Rose Priddy
BEE SPRINGS – Peggy Rose Priddy, age 74, departed this life on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green. The Edmonson County native was born on August 18, 1948, to the late Raymond and Maxine Hayes. She was married to her best friend, Steven Priddy, who also preceded her in death.
Peggy retired from Grayson County Schools after teaching for many years at Lawler Elementary. She was a member of Bee Spring Missionary Baptist Church.
She leaves to honor her memory— her daughter, Cindy Decker Vincent (Neil) of Marion, IL; two grandchildren, Justin Vincent (Susie Abston) and her son, Eli, of Smiths Grove, and Chelsye Cook (Adam) of Marion, IL; a brother, Charles Hayes (Marilyn) of Sweeden, KY; nephews and niece, Danny Hayes (Pat), Jeff Hayes, and Anna Leigh Powell; along with several great nephews and nieces.
Interment will be in Bee Spring Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to: Christian Home General Baptist Church, c/o Missy Whobrey.
