Roma Eugene Moore

GLASGOW – Roma Eugene Moore, age 97, passed away Monday, July 7, 2023, at Shanti Niketan Hospice Home in Glasgow KY. Roma was born on November 6, 1925, to the late Edgar Moore and the late Azzie (Emmert) Moore. He was a faithful member of Dover Missionary Baptist Church at Etoile and a member of the local DAV chapter 20.

He is survived by his grandson, Kerry Moore (Melanie); granddaughter, Kayce Woods (Josh); daughter-in-law, Sharon Moore; great-grandchildren, Emma Rae Moore, Josey Claire Moore; sister, Reva Parker; brother, Bob Moore (Sue); brother-in-law, Bill Jones; sister-in-law, Willie-Dean Jones; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Nelda Moore of 69 years; son, Gary Eugene Moore; brothers, Barlow Moore, Ernest Moore, Charlie Moore, Cecil Moore, Ray Moore; sisters, Wilma Tipton, Nelda Geralds, Pearl Birge, Ruby Ray, and Lou Hood.

The funeral service for Mr. Moore will be held at 11 AM. Thursday, July 6, 2023, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 5th, from 4:00 PM. until 8:00 PM. and on Thursday morning until time for the service.
