Connie Harston Jackson
GLASGOW – Connie Harston Jackson, 74, was called from this life Thursday, June 29, 2023. The Scottsville native was born June 14, 1949, in Glasgow, Kentucky to the late Kathryn Pardue Harston and James Lloyd Harston of Allen Country, Kentucky. She passed away at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee, surrounded by her husband, Terry Jackson, and children Tara, Leanne, and Ben. She was a member of Bon Ayr Baptist Church, where she was saved by God’s grace, on the mourner’s bench in 1984.
She loved and was loved by many. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Terry Jackson; daughters Tara Marie (Daniel) Hanner and Leanne Kathryn (James) Bielak; and son, Benjamin Todd (Jenna) Jackson. Her cherished grandchildren, Austin “A.J.” (Lauren) Hanner, Trace Harston Hanner, Karcy Kathryn Hanner, Kaylee Grace Bielak, Lincoln James Bielak, and Lindsey Mae Jackson; one great-granddaughter, Oakley Ann Hanner; two brothers, Jimmy (Kathy) Harston and Randy (Melanie) Harston; many nieces and nephews. Also surviving her dear and best friend, Nina Ruth Shirley.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Harston.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday and after 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until the time for services at the funeral home.
