Wanda Mae White Dickson

CAVE CITY – Wanda Mae White Dickson, age 84, was surrounded by her family as she passed away peacefully on Monday, June 26, 2023, at Shanti Niketan Hospice Home. The Green County native was born on October 5, 1938, to the late Rommie “Pete” and Roxie Leontine Neagle White. She was married for sixty-five years to James E. Dickson, who survives.

Wanda was a member of Basil Chapel United Baptist Church in Cave City. She was employed for many years by Firestone Textiles Company in Bowling Green, and also Carhartt Manufacturing in Glasgow until March of 2012.

Besides her husband, James, she leaves to honor her memory— son, Mike Dickson (Brenda) of Bowling Green; grandson, Craig Dickson of Boston, MA; one brother, Don White (Elma) of Louisville; one sister, Fay Wright (J.W.) of Greensburg; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Interment will be in Cave City Cemetery.
