Annetta June Gray

GLASGOW – Annetta June Gray, age 73, passed away, Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at TJ Samson Community Hospital. She was born in Barren County, on June 20, 1950, to the late John Allen Bowles and the late Effie Pauline (Glass) Bowles. She was a homemaker who loved her family and the Lord. She was a faithful member of the Grider Memorial Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Terry Gray; her daughter, Jennifer Gray; her son, Terry Gray Jr.; five grandchildren, Heather Ritter, Noah Grooms, Cody Gray, Paige Gray, and Matthew Gray; three great-grandchildren, Reagan, Bentley, and Sawyer. She is also survived by her brother, Kyle (Linda) Bowles; her sisters, Shrada Cumbee, Vicie Hankins, Catherine Bagby (Robert); her brother-in-law, Robert Sloane; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, George Luther Bowles, Jim Willis Bowles, and Preston Bowles; and her sister, Mary Sloane

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, June 30, 2023, at Grider Memorial Missionary Baptist Church with burial in the Bowles Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM Friday until time for the services at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Grider Memorial Missionary Baptist Church.
