Rebecca Rose (Pruitt) Logsdon
HISEVILLE – Rebecca Rose (Pruitt) Logsdon, age 77, passed away at her home on Wednesday, June 12, 2023. Rebecca was born on July 12, 1945, the daughter of the late Lander Critten Pruitt and Ruby Mae (Perdue) Pruitt. She was married to Harmon Lee Logsdon, who preceded her in death on March 2, 1998. She was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church and a former member of The Eastern Star, and she enjoyed Gardening, Canning, and being outdoors admiring her flowers.
She is survived by her children, Kelly Logsdon, and Tammy Logsdon of Cave City; two sisters, Marcella Morrison, of Hiseville, and Leer Neal Logsdon of Davenport, Iowa; four grandchildren, Zachary S. Lee, Kellie Logsdon-Bragg and her husband Brian, Kindra Logsdon, and Natasha Bailey and husband Dylan; two great-grandchildren, Mallory and Raegan; along with her special friend, James A. Pennington; and her two fur babies, Abbie and Baby Boy also survive.
In addition to her parents, and her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, J.T. Pruitt, Leroy Pruitt, Calvin Pruitt; and three sisters, Myrtle Barber, Blanche Bishop, and Freida Lewis.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, from The Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel, with burial to follow in Hiseville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday morning after 8:00 a.m. until the time for services at 2:00 p.m.
