Owen Phelps
EDMONTON -Owen Phelps, age 80, passed away June 17, 2023, at the Hospice House in Bowling Green. He was the son of the late Millard and Lonia Garrett Phelps and of the Methodist Faith. He was a construction worker.
He is survived by one daughter, Gloria Phelps; and one son, Daniel Phelps of Glasgow; and two grandchildren, Amber (Adam) Burton and Timothy Jessie; two great-grandchildren, Isaiah White-Jessie and Mukenzie Jessie; one sister, Helen Jessie of Edmonton; and two brothers, Arkley and Gene (Jo Ann) Phelps of Edmonton.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Onia Garrett, Rae Dial, and Linda Dickson; and one brother, Jimmy Phelps.
A memorial service will be held later as cremation was chosen. Memorial contributions are encouraged to be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
